The JET JWL-1440VS is the second successful series of robust medium-sized lathes JET, which excels with robust cast iron construction, a lot of power, precision and flexibility, basically, all that is necessary for great woodturning. The spindle is stored in massive bearings and is driven through a belt with 750 W motor with variable speed control. The spindle can be indexed every 10° using the locking mechanism.

This Woodturning lathe offers a wide range of excellent properties, such as rotating and sliding tailstock and a unique optional bed extension. A table-mounted version without a stand is a standard, stand and cast iron bed extension 508 mm can be purchased as optional accessories.
