Once you insert a new tool into the spindle, you have to accurately measure the length of your tool against the workpiece or workbench. The touch sensor is simply plugged into the connector on the gantry, placed under the tool and the tool length is automatically measured. This AUTO Touch-Off function in the UCCNC program loads the measurement in the computer.
